About My Practice

Background

I am a Board Certified Educational Therapist and have enjoyed working with children in the San Francisco Bay Area for 20 years. I believe that the key to success is seeing every challenge as an opportunity, not an obstacle or hindrance. I work closely with children and families to "demystify" learning challenges and help them understand their personal learning strengths and weaknesses. My greatest joy comes from hearing a student say, "I didn't used think I could do this but now I know I can."

I provide a range of services including

• 1:1 Academic remediation for first grade through college students
• Specialiazation in both reading and written expression, and executive functioning
• Consultations with schools and allied professionals

• Parent Coaching

• Deschler - Sentence/paragraph writing and comprehension
• Semple Math - Mnemonic math program
• Visual Math
