Feedback From Happy Colleagues and Clients!

"Erin is one of the best Educational Therapists I have had the pleasure to work with in my career. She deeply understands learning challenges and effective strategies to face them. More importantly, she develops caring and respectful relationships with all of her clients, especially children and teens, and expertly tailors her interventions to meet each person's unique strengths and needs."

"Erin is a team player who always has the best interests of her students in mind.  She is outstanding at identifying underlying issues and working with teams to get the correct diagnosis and put a realistic plan of action in place.  Erin has a wealth of knowledge on resources for the LD community.  Her focus on self-esteem in teens with LD has literally saved lives.  She has a gift for what she does."

It has been my sincere privilege to have known and worked with Erin. We have shared the same or overlapping communities during the time she has been my friend and colleague. I know her as an expert in her field and a professional with an innate talent for working with a wide variety of students. I hold Erin in very high regard because of her loving, intuitive approach in practicing her expertise and her demonstrated gains with students who learn differently. No brain functions well under stress. The stressed brain will freeze, slow down, or become unhelpfully hyper-aroused and thus the higher-order faculties needed for learning are compromised. Erin’s defining characteristic as an educator and educational therapist is her capacity for joy and laughter, which she masterfully utilizes to bring a student out of a stressed state and into the relaxed and playful state needed in order for learning to occur. I’ve seen students come alive around her warm, joyful presence. It is through this presence and capacity for joy and whimsy that Erin is able to unlock a student’s true potential. Throughout the years we’ve known each other, I’ve counted on her as a valuable resource to me when I have questions. I am so grateful to her for being so generous in sharing her wealth of knowledge. She is a delight to know and work with and I look forward to many more years of benefitting from her warmth, skill, and talent.
